An innocent child lost his life due to lack of treatment in the mother-child wing of Chandauli District Hospital. Family members allege that he was referred to the district hospital after complaining of stomach ache. Where there were no doctors present for an hour at 1 am. By the time he arrived, my son was dead. There was a stir in the hospital after this incident. In this case, on the complaint of the family members, the CMO has said that action will be taken after investigation.

Indrajit (05), son of Ramakant Srivastava, resident of Babhaniyav of Dhanapur police station area, fell ill on Saturday night. He was taken to Babhaniyaon CHC from where the doctors referred him to the district hospital. After 12 o’clock in the night, he was taken to the district hospital for treatment. It took an hour to get the slip here and the child kept suffering from pain.

Ramakant, the child’s father, told that the son was groaning in pain and the ward boy just kept saying that the doctor would be on his way. An hour passed by doing this and by then the son became silent. The doctor came but by then the son had lost his life. The doctor was absent, after waiting for 2 hours no doctor arrived to treat his son.
Chaos due to death of only son
There is chaos in the family due to the death of the only son. It is alleged that the child could not be treated properly in time, due to which Indrajit died. In this regard, Chief Medical Officer Dr. UK Rai said that doctors have been deployed for emergencies in all the government hospitals of the district. Negligence of doctors is not tolerated. After investigation, strict action will be taken against such doctors.
